Kispiax Village, Emily Carr, 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle

Kispiax Village, 1929 shows a First Nations village in the Pacific Northwest, rendered beautifully by Emily Carr (Canadian, 1871–1945). While the painter titled her painting “Kispiax Village,” the more common spelling is “Kispiox,” referring to the village situated within the Kispiox Indian Reserve in British Columbia. Today its totem poles still tower over the land, just as they do in Carr’s dynamic painting, reproduced for this puzzle.

Combines detailed color reproduction, stunning and unusual images, and sturdy construction to delight generations of novice and veteran puzzle workers.

Ages 3 and up (due to small parts)

Materials: Coated cardboard

Dimensions:  27 x 20 in. (assembled puzzle)
