Seattle-based Haida artist Sondra S. Segundo tells the story of a young Haida girl with eyes like no other is lost to the sea.  Heartbroken, her people search for their Dagwaang (dear one).  What they discover is that ever-so-quiet wonder that tells them the world is truly magic.

With her vibrant illustrations and traditional songs (CD included), Sondra S. Segundo brings to life a piece of personal history combined with artistic interpretation.  She is passionate about sharing her talents to keep Indigenous culture alive and works to preserve her culture as a teacher, singer, storyteller and visual artist.
