Stay Inside the Lines Seattle Coloring Book
Local artist Galen Driver launched Stay Inside the Lines Seattle in March of 2020, when the quarantine started. Schools were scrambling to figure out remote learning, and home schooling packets were often lacking art activities for children. Local artists had less opportunity to participate in shows, murals and other projects. Driver provided a perfect opportunity to connect these dots and launch Stay Inside the Lines Seattle.
What started as a collection of 15 pages back in March of 2020 has continually grown into a living library of over 35 free coloring pages for the community by over 20 local artists and muralists, including: OneSevenNine, Kyler Martz, Henry, Joey Nix, Preston Singletary, and more.
Driver has partnered with ArtsEd Washington to establish the 'Color For The Arts Fund', a new dedicated fund providing art supplies for schools in Washington state with high numbers or percentages of children living in low-income households. To launch this fund, he is donating one book for each book sold along with 100% of profits going directly into the ‘Color For The Arts Fund’.
