Jake Makes a World
Inspired by the childhood of the artists in 1930s Harlem, Jake Makes a World introduces young readers to a boy who finds inspiration in everyday things.
Written by Sharifa Rhodes-Pitt and vibrantly illustrated by Christopher Meyers, scenes and images recall the works of Lawrence depicting every day happenings, as well as a reproduction of an actual Migration series panel used within the artwork of the book.
