Cheryl DeGroot has been making jewelry in the Northwest for over 30 years. Before turning full time to her craft in 1987, she worked as a cab driver, bartender, cannery worker and a welder and rigger directing crane operators at Tacoma Boat. DeGroot credits the architectural quality of her designs to the geometry of that job, its arc of cable and crane. Her designs are clean and modern often using multiple metal smithing techniques including mokume and fusing.
This item is handmade and may have slight variations.
